A 52-year-old neighbour was dropped off opposite her house at 448 Mortimer Avenue. She stepped into a sink hole between the sidewalk and the roadway and badly broke her leg. A few days later Paramedics found her in distress on her front lawn. CPR failed and she passed away due to a blood clot caused by the fractrure. An orange cone was placed over the sinkhole and today the cone had vanished. Police and City of Toronto Works Department were called.

This needs to be repaired ASAP before someone else is severely injured.

  • 220 Linnsmore Crescent Toronto, Ontario - Toronto

The condition of the roadway at the corner of Linsmore Crescent and Memorial Park Avenuen in East York is terrible. A section of the road near the manhole cover is both heaving and sinkiing. There are numerous holes in the roadway as well. And recently a new hole has opened up and instead of repairing this two orange cones have been placed in the hole.

This is dangerous to motor vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.

With just over two weeks before the start of the East York Civic Centre Farmers' Market, the Parks Department erected a sign holder for the dates and time of the Farmers' Market. That was two weeks ago and we still don't have the dates and times posted.
